This painting is very cool because it takes a photo of Thomas Francis, but puts a modern day touch on it by puting a subject with everyday clothes on the horse. Wiley is know to do this with his paintings. I like how the background has an old feel to it. Especially the horse makes it look older, but then again his subjects make it very modern. The painting is all around cool.
