| Jed Jacobsohn of Sports Illustrated captures a classic picture of Americas pastime. I like this image because it shows a classic angle of opening ceremonies at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The artist makes this image effective because it shows the open air with the fighter jet flying high representing patriotism. The artist is trying to convey the message of baseball is still Americas pastime. This photo is meaningful to me because I have expirienced this scene, and it takes me back to the great memories I have had while attending baseball games. The Kansas City Royals faced off with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Opening Weekend for the 2012 Major League Baseball season. The fighter jet flies high above Angel Stadium of Anaheim to get the festivities rolling. |

I like this image a lot because it gives a different perspective of looking at a baseball field and the jet in the photo adds a neat touch.
